WHAT DOES IT TAKE?
NUTRITION
Food should taste good, but it should also nurture your body. Weight management is crucial in boxing. People are under the impression it's boring and not good but with a creative, dynamic, and responsible approach to healthy eating, as well as an extensive range of research, you can achieve all your nutrition goals — the healthy way.

I recommend consulting with a nutritionist about a plan that will work for you. It is important to have a plan in all aspect of your journey in boxing.
NO EXCUSES
Not even one. I learned growing up distinguishing bad pain and healthy pain. Our bodies and mind are capable of so much. During training you will use a lot of different muscle groups that you normally wouldn't use in weight training and in boxing there is no days off. Sparring could be the next day and cause muscle fatigue. This is where most fighters give up.
STRETCH! Do not be lazy. I take 20-30 minutes in stretching before workout and after. Find a good Youtube stretch routine and start applying.
DISCIPLINE
Our bodies are smart and can get through anything. You can never forget why you started and you have to hold on to that. These are the biggest rules to succeed

-Be humble
-Respect the gym
-Respect your coach
-Ask questions
-Respect your sparring partners
-Create a balance in your life

Everything takes time, trust the process.
